From Our Founders
When we started Golden Steps, it was about building hope.
When we started Golden Steps, it was about building hope. We saw families who had just received an autism diagnosis, often overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. We saw talented clinicians who wanted to change lives but were too often limited by heavy caseloads or lack of support. And we saw children, bright, full of potential, unable to or waiting far too long to get the care they deserved.
Golden Steps was created out of an urgent belief: every child should have access to exceptional, compassionate autism care, close to home.
We built a place where families feel seen and supported, where therapy feels like growth through play, and where clinicians are empowered with the tools and encouragement they need to thrive.
Our name reflects our philosophy: progress in ABA is not always a giant leap, but a series of golden steps forward. Each new word spoken, every skill gained, every connection made is a milestone worth celebrating. Today, our mission is as strong as ever: to walk alongside families, celebrate each step, and empower meaningful progress—together.
